ASUSTOR AS-202TE Intel Atom 1.2GHz 1GB DDR3 GbE USB 3.0 2-Bay NAS Server

ASUSTOR AS-202TE Intel Atom 1.2GHz 1GB DDR3 GbE USB 3.0 2-Bay NAS Server
Installed it in less than 15 minutes with (2) 4TB WD RED in Raid 1. Already had almost that amount of data on my PC so it took almost a day to transfer everything. Bought this model because of the Intel Atom CPU and XBMC functionality and it works perfectly. 1080p movies over HDMI play perfectly, less than 50% CPU load(if you are only using xbmc), with the already reported audio offset problem, wich can be "fixed" while the movie is playing with the xbmc audio offset menu. The only problem I found is that it can't play 10-bit mkv videos. For streaming to my Android devices it works without problems, and the bottleneck now is my router. I can now save almost 10x in energy when watching movies on the TV, since I was using my custom powerhouse PC for that. I really appreciate that you can change the brightness of the LEDs and the fan speed, since this is in my bedroom. Power consumption in HDD hibernation is high at ~10 watt. Standby is ~ 0.x watt, but I don't use it since my Android devices can't turn it on automatically when trying to access the drive with ES File Explorer(it can be done using an app with WOL). The 2TB Seagate NAS it replaced had that functionality so I don't understand why this one doesn't. Tried the torrent app and for some reason it was faster for newly seeded files than my PC. - Customer Reviews
