ThinkServer 70A4001LUX 5U Tower Server - 1 x Intel Xeon E3-1225 v3 3.20 GHz

Normally, I don't like buying electronics if I haven't at least seen them in person, but this tower was by far the best deal for what I was looking for. Taking the plunge and buying it was well worth the effort! As detailed in other reviews, this machine is so quiet that you might wonder if it's on. Judging by my electric bill, it has very low power needs even when running 24/7. There were absolutely no driver issues or hassles when I installed Xubuntu 14.04 (64-bit) on it, and it handles virtualization very smoothly. Perhaps the one weakness is it being ill-suited for gaming, but I'm using it as a workstation for graduate school and don't generally play games anyway.
